Poetry Evening at the White House 2011
This room is beautiful and the video captures a brilliant up close view of an evening at the White House. Crisp and warm at the same time.
The poem “Maple Valley Branch Library” feels like it is taken straight out of my heart and brain, and seems like it is a part of a larger epic poem that’s just around the corner.
Full version of the evening here. (It’s worth it ;) Note: In addition to the poetry, Andrew Goldsmith’s suit and the dimmed, glinting chandelier in the center of the room are not to be missed. - VK
