This super cool modern barn/boathouse holds
a restored 1854 “Gallinipper” lifeboat originally created by Joseph Francis.
It’s at the Old School House History Center in Douglas , MI.
A mural by Kit Lane of the sinking of the Chicora in 1895
lines the wall of the new Boathouse.
